Yeah, we teach kids to love their neighbor, do good in society, and stay married and faithful to one person. Terrorism at its ugliest, folks.
Brian Flemming thinks that youth are helpless victims of Christian teachings. Atheism’s foremost apologist, Richard Dawkins, is a heavy promoter of Brian’s newest project: “The Blasphemy Challenge.”

Using Mark 3:29 as a platform, Brian encourages boys and girls to video themselves denying God and then post it to YouTube. You can see hundreds of these videos online right now. It’s alarming. Young adults, teens, and even children zealously travel down the road to hell as they deny the God that gives them both the air and capacity to breathe the air they need to twitch the muscles that move their blasphemous mouths. May God be merciful to them and grant them faith and repentance.
Brian admits he is targeting children with “The Blasphemy Challenge.”
As a very small child, I could slap my daddy in the face if he picked me up into his arms and held me close. Brian and his followers do the same thing to their heavenly Father. What Brian does not realize is that it is only because of the sustaining and supporting hand of His Creator that gives him the ability to mock the One ultimately granting him existence.
Actually, Brian does realize this in his heart of hearts. He willingly supresses the knowledge of God. He pushes back God’s gracious revelation like a swimmer that holds a volleyball under water and then argues against the existence of the volleyball.
The initial blasphemer you’ll hear in the video above says: “Through basic observation of the world around me, and through logical thinking…I’ve come to the conclusion there is no God.” What he fails to see is that he is borrowing from the Christian worldview every time he uses logic.
Atheistic philosophy is the true terrorism. The atheists claim they are exposing Christians under delusion. Fine. I’m not trying to silence atheists, or stop them from their atheistic activities, but I do want to expose their philosophy and confront them with it.
In a truly atheistic universe, Brian and his fellow blasphemers have no objective standard by which to guage what is right and wrong, good and evil. They cannot account for the laws of logic which they use to attempt to make their arguments against God’s existence. Atheism stops short of dealing with the tough philosophical questions and would rather point out the supposed shortcomings of the Christian God. And all the while atheists try to poke holes in Christian religion, they unwittingly use the moral moorings that are provided by the true Christian religion and by the character of the good God of the Christian religion. They must do this because atheism provides none.
(It’s kind of like arguing against the existence of air while you’re breathing it.)
Are you moved to action, Christian? Let’s change our affections, brothers and sisters. Let’s stop investing our lives into watching American Idol. Learn how to engage your culture with the truth. This life is not a game. Let’s be different. Let’s be active. I am ticked that Christians are so very, very asleep in our comfortable Americhristianity. Rise up and do something for Jesus. Wake up. Be salty. Be edgy. Be LIGHT. Speak the truth in love. We’re a comfortable subculture; a subculture which has been fed and grown to preposterous proportions by most of our Christian schools and universities. Our walls of “holiness” and protection from the world are solidly in place but our impact upon this culture with gospel truth is pitiful. We don’t speak gospel truth. Many of us don’t even live it.
Q: How will I know when I am salt and light in the world?
A: You will suffer persecution from the godless. (2 Timothy 3:12)
***IDEA: The Blasphemy Challenge Challenge***
I’d love to see thousands of kids and teens posting their own personal salvation testimony on YouTube. I’ve got a zillion projects I’m working on and my to-do list is as thick as the “M” volume of the Encyclopedia Brittanica, but if you’ve got an idea of how this can happen, please let me know. Kids 4 Truth has a YouTube account and we could easily post videos through that. The incentive to doing this? Perhaps Revelation 12:11 can help: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
Maybe “The Simon Peter Challenge” from Matthew 16:16?: Simon Peter answered and said, "You [Jesus] are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Please let me know if someone else is doing something similar.
